Introduction

The images on this page are of clipart and layouts that I have designed. Most of the layouts are comprised of purely my clipart while some have been combined with commercially available clipart which has been sourced from Design and Make.

Some of these images are CAD Previews and some are what I call Modeling Previews. Most of the time there is no major difference between the two. Sometimes the Modeling Preview is not as crisp of image as the CAD Previews.

CAD Previews are renderings which are the result of a virtual machining process. The image is a digital representation of what a design layout or individual piece of clipart could look like if it had gone through an actual machining process.

Modeling Previews are the direct result from the actual design process. It is the image that I see when creating various shapes to build the model.
